Designed for the harshest conditions, as well as other variables that require higher amounts of specific electrolytic minerals, Endurolytes Extreme has you covered! With each capsule containing 300 mg of sodium chloride (salt) and 75 mg of potassium per capsule—three times more than the original Endurolytes formula, yet still in a balanced 4:1 ratio—Endurolytes Extreme is guaranteed to resolve even the toughest electrolyte replenishment challenges, especially:
During unusually hot-weather events
If you're not acclimated to the weather conditions
If you consume a high-sodium diet
If you are "physiologically predisposed" to cramping (e.g., if you have extremely high sweat rates)
During early season training, a time when fitness levels are low, resulting in higher mineral losses
If one of more of these categories describes you or your circumstances, Endurolytes Extreme is the product you need.

Incredible results!Recently purchased to support my electrolyte needs while performing demanding manual labor activities outside during 90+ degree weather. Work like a charm; no cramping, no bonking, no nausea. Taking the minimum suggested dose, too! Works excellently along with HEED and Hammer Gel.

Wouldn't ride long distance without them!I was counting on Endurolytes Extreme and Anti-Fatigue Caps as well as Hammer bars to get me through my last Iron Man race earlier this year and as usual Hammer products did not disappoint. It was a tough day in the wind cycling and I was afraid of bonking so I back off a bit, however I realized at the end, that the Hammer products did their job so well I could have pushed myself a little harder. Thanks Hammer!

No more leg crampsI have used Endurolytes for many years but did a trip where temps were going to be over the top. Switched to the Extreme for added insurance and they did the trick. No leg cramps...

Athletes and FarmersI have shared my Endurolyte extreme with a farmer neighbor who is out all day in the heat. His chronic cramps have disappeared. Also shared with athlete friend who bicycles 30-50 miles regularly as well as participates in multiple high energy activities. After a bout with heat exhaustion on last ride, she is a convert too.

Left me bloated and dehydratedForgive me, HAMMER; I usually have nothing but good things to say about your products, but...
History: Took 1 EE prior to 6 hour/100 mile cycling race (82ºF), then 1 more EE at the midpoint. Stayed hydrated and kept carbs and calories (HEED+Gels) in check.
Seemed to sweat more than usual with EE's, and the last hour I felt more "spent" than usual. Post-Race: Did my normal Recoverite, a little pasta, and plenty of water. Hit the sack.
The real problem was the next day; bloated, and unusually dehydrated. Woke up in the middle of the night THIRSTY. Gained a bunch of water weight that after 2 days is finally dissipating. Never had this issue prior to using EE; ride plenty of centuries on the weekends for fun without EE in the past and never had any bloating, dehydration, or next-day thirst issues. I absolutely do sweat without them, and thought EE's might complement the electrolyte loss.
I originally bought EE's because I had a slight cramping issue on a previous race thinking they might help, but I think the unintended side-effects are worse than dealing with a little cramping (which, in my case, is most likely from overuse, and not necessarily electrolyte loss).
The ONLY thing that changed was the addition of EE's to my fuel; everything else remains constant. This is the third time I've tried EE's, and suffered the same side-effects post-ride.
HAMMER does their homework, but please know that every HAMMER product does not necessarily work for every athlete. You must make your own choices based on using them and discovering how well they work for YOUR unique athletic situation.
I think I'll stick to HEED (don't like Perpetuem) and Gels.
