Designed for the harshest conditions, as well as other variables that require higher amounts of specific electrolytic minerals, Endurolytes Extreme has you covered! With each capsule containing 300 mg of sodium chloride (salt) and 75 mg of potassium per capsule—three times more than the original Endurolytes formula, yet still in a balanced 4:1 ratio—Endurolytes Extreme is guaranteed to resolve even the toughest electrolyte replenishment challenges, especially:
During unusually hot-weather events
If you're not acclimated to the weather conditions
If you consume a high-sodium diet
If you are "physiologically predisposed" to cramping (e.g., if you have extremely high sweat rates)
During early season training, a time when fitness levels are low, resulting in higher mineral losses
If one of more of these categories describes you or your circumstances, Endurolytes Extreme is the product you need.

TRULY OUTSTANDINGSometimes improvements to products really don't improve the product. Endurolyte Extremes are a definitive improvement on an already great product. I don't have to carry as many with me on a ride and they work great. I use them on hot and cold rides to stave-off depletion of critical nutrients and minerals, as well as minimize that hung-over feeling after riding 200 miles.

Nothing else compares! This is the most complete recovery product I have ever used. After long events of softball or basketball officiating, you tend to lose a lot. Just follow the recommended doses and schedule and you will never go wrong! I have been taking this product for a month now and have yet to cramp up after an event. I will never use another product for electrolyte replacement. Simply Awesome!

Economy of usageIt is so great that Hammer came up with a more concentrated formula for Endurolites. Now I can fit it into my feeding schedule easier, rather than having to keep track of three pills an hour, 20 minutes goes by fast when one is in the woods, I can take one extreme every hour and fit it within my Sustanined Energy feeding. Now I spend less time fiddling with containers and can keep concentrated on my running plan. Besides I am taking a third of the number of pills with me.
Thank you hammer

Great for long bike rides.I bought these because I'm doing Kona (Ironman) in a month and figured I could carry less capsules with me. I'll probably take one every 25 miles on the bike, because it will be pretty hot. The less stuff you have to carry the better. Plus, I will have to swallow less pills. I don't know if I will take any on the run, because hopefully when the sun goes down it won't be so hot.

DisappointedAs an avid cramper, I can't survive multi-hour MTB rides without my Endurolytes. Precisely why I was excited to see Endurolytes Extreme introduced, so I got them. My understanding was 1 capsule per hour, but during my recent 9 hour race (Hampshire 100), I needed more. So I up'ed to 1 each 1/2 hour...still cramped. I consumed a water bottle of Heed every hour, 2 full Camelbak's (70 oz.) of water, Hammer Gels, pickles, 6 PB&Js etc...still cramped...disappointed. Any suggestions?
