Phytomax—Superfood Power, Capsule Convenience

BY STEVE BORN

I am SO THANKFUL that this product is available again. I relied on Phytomax for so long—20 years or more—that it was a real drag when the raw material supply dried up and it was no longer available. I was a bona fide Phytomax junkie because I could rely on it to help meet my daily needs for high-quality vegetables, especially when they were in short supply (as is the case during the winter months here in northwest Montana). Plus, I just felt so good when I had my 3-6 capsules of Phytomax: more energy and better mental function—without any kind of stimulant effect whatsoever—and it also improved the quality of my sleep. Am I glad Phytomax is back? You betcha!

Phytomax—Because we all fall short of the mark

The USDA recommends 3-5 servings of vegetables daily, but most of us fall far short of the mark. While we all should focus on consuming as many vegetables and fruits as we can on a daily basis, a cost-effective, easy-to-use supplement that provides our bodies with optimal amounts of high-quality vegetable nutrition our bodies need is a must. This is where Phytomax comes in. Produced from Hydrilla vertcillata, a wild, water-submersed perennial herb, Phytomax contains an impressive profile of vitamins, minerals, enzymes, fatty acids, antioxidants, RNA, DNA, chlorophyll, and other phytonutrients. Three capsules of Phytomax.will provide higher quality vegetable nutrition than blue-green algae, spirulina, chlorella, wheat grass juice, barley grass juice, or any other similar product.

Phytomax benefits

Alkaline food. Phytomax has a pH of 8.5 or higher, which makes it an alkaline food source to help to offset the acidic pH generated during exercise.

Antioxidant power. Phytomax is an excellent source of Superoxide Dismutase (SOD), an extremely powerful antioxidant.

Outstanding source of chlorophyll. Benefits of chlorophyll include:

  • Helps control hunger and cravings to assist in weight loss
  • Helps control body odor
  • Promotes healthy skin
  • Helps cleanse the body by binding with environmental pollutants such as toxic metals and carcinogens. Chlorophyll stimulates liver detoxifying enzymes.
  • Promotes the production of red blood cells.
  • Helps promote quality sleep. Chlorophyll-rich foods, such as Phytomax, spirulina and chlorella (in Hammer Vegan Protein), as well as leafy green vegetables, are thought to aid in achieving quality sleep.

Contains gamma linolenic acid (GLA), an essential fatty acid with properties that fight aches and soreness.

Good source of B vitamins, including vitamin B12, which can often be challenging for vegetarians/vegans to obtain.

Good source of many minerals, including calcium, magnesium, and potassium.

Loaded with beneficial complementary nutrients, including enzymes, phytosterols (good for healthy cholesterol levels) and numerous phytonutrients.

Summary

Though considered by many to be nothing more than a noxious weed, very few plants possess the nutrient/phytochemical density that Phytomax’s Hydrilla verticillata does. A daily dose of 3-6 capsules is a wise strategy to ensure you’re getting enough of the vegetable nutrition that our modern-day diets rarely supply. Ask anyone who has used Phytomax and they’ll tell you that it is unquestionably a must-use daily supplement. Phytomax is back in stock (Woo Hoo!) and ready to help support your athletic and health goals!
