Easy way to take more gel on ride/runs
What I love about this is that I can take along more gel on longer workouts/races. Rather than have to take 2 flasks, just one of these holds enough gel to last my longest times on a run or bike.
I always thin my gel with 1 part water to 2 parts gel. This gives a better consistency in the mouth making it easier to swallow and not leave a lot of after taste in the mouth, which I dont like when racing.
Since I thin my gels, this works perfect (and stores better in a jersey pocket). If you dont thin gel, it may work only as well as a flask--which in cold weather is not real well. In fact, I expect this will work better in winter than a flask since its easier to squeeze product out.
The bite valve has yet to leak in my pocket or Naked Running band. I was pleasantly surprised at that--I figured it was the weak point of the design. Not so.

Ignore the negative review. Softflasks are awesome! I wish Hammer stocked a few more of the variety of sizes that are made. They are super light and pack up small when empty. Don't use straight gel, make a 4:1 mix of gel and hot water then squish it around until it mixes. The soft flask fits into a running vest pocket or even into the velcro pocket of the RaceReady Hammer running shorts.

Doesn't work for gel.....
Despite the info about the softflask, it doesn't work for Hammer Gel. LIke the squeeze bottles that you sell, the gel is too thick to make it through the nozzle on the end of the flask. Even if you water it down, which I don't like to do, it settles and becomes too thick to get through the top. The soft part is great and easy to squeeze but without a functional nozzle, this is a loser.
