Description:

If endurance fuels such as Hammer Gel, HEED, and Perpetuem are your body's gasoline, electrolytes are what keep the octane high. Cramping is your body's final warning signal that you're on empty electrolyte-wise, and when you've reached that point, the performance of many bodily systems has been severely compromised for some time. To keep your muscular, digestive, nervous, and cardiac systems firing on all cylinders, you need a consistent supply of all of the electrolytic minerals, not just sodium and potassium.

Taken prior to, during, and after exercise, Endurolytes supplies exactly what your body needs. A well-balanced, full-spectrum, rapidly assimilated electrolyte source, Endurolytes keeps cramping at bay while helping maintain the optimal performance of the aforementioned bodily systems. Endurolytes complements a low-sodium diet and allows you to meet your electrolytic mineral needs with tremendous precision, hour after hour, in all types of conditions.

Notes:

1) If you prefer to drink your electrolytes instead of consuming them via capsules, Endurolytes Fizz is the product you're looking for.

2) If you are an exceptionally high sweater, if you're exercising in extreme conditions (and especially if you're not acclimated to those conditions), or if you consume a high-sodium diet, Endurolytes Extreme may be the ideal product for you.

Extra Benefits:
Taking two or more Endurolytes before bed may help prevent night cramps and nighttime muscle twitching.

The Heat Is On: Staying Cool in the Heat

With the summer's heat presently approaching, I have had several questions from the field on hydration, fuel selection, and electrolyte supplements for coping with thermic-induced DNF's, bonking, and cramping. Everyone is born with a unique, special one-of-a-kind biochemistry, which prevents even the best of scholars from professing a single correct formula for us all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Skip the sports drink at the aid stations In training for my last marathon, I tried the sports drink that was going to be provided at the race. I have a pretty solid stomach, but the drink just never sat well. That's when I started researching other options and found Endurolytes. In reading some Hammer articles, I was even more convinced to skip the sports drink and just go with Endurolyte capsules for my electrolyte needs. Worked like a charm! I took a couple capsules before the race, and few more at the recommended times throughout the race with water, and never had an issue. In combination with Hammer Gels and Race Day Boost, I bettered my PR by almost 7 minutes, snagging my first sub-3 in 2:57! Thanks, Hammer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Goodbye muscle cramps A co-worker who uses Hammer Nutrition products suggested I try your Endurolytes after hearing I had muscle cramps after my first 1/2 Marathon. I bought a bottle along with other products and ran another 1/2 Marathon this past weekend. I took one tablet with some HEED prior to the start, another with more HEED and GEL at miles 7 and 10 and finished the race strong. Shaving six minutes off my first 1/2 Marathon and suffering NO muscle cramps after the race. Thank You Hanner Nutrition!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does exactly what it's supposed to do! I used to get bad stomach cramps on runs, coming off the bike on triathlons (nearly every time without fail). Each time was more frustrating. I started using Endurolytes the day before, morning of, and at T2 before the run. Since I started doing this, I haven't had a single issue with cramps during the run. Best of all, Endurolytes doesn't contain the added sugars found in many electrolyte sports drinks. It simply contains the ingredients necessary to prevent cramping, and that is it. If you are looking for an anti-cramp product that is also not heavy on unnatural sugars, carbs, etc, this product is absolutely the right one for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It helps me in the marathon... (by 14 minutes) A friend introduced me to these capsules after I kept experiencing dehydration in several marathons. Despite being "well trained," I still fell apart in the last 4 or 5 miles (in 2011 & '12). With the same amount of conditioning in 2013 (while using Hammer capsules), I was able to finally "cash in" my training and run two quality races (Boston & Marine Corps in 2:47 each). Before the capsules (& drinking more during races)... I was only able to pull off a 3:01. I hope to go even faster in 2014! I encourage folks to try them. I swallow one every 5 miles... maybe every 3 miles if it is really warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from sweat it and forget it! I treasure these for race day more than my Amino's. Usually I never have time in Crits/Road races to be drinking fluids. My body has a pet peeve for using regular water during races, and if I overdue any other powders in my bottles, my body rejects the hydration,I hit a mental wall, and I bonk hard... However, Besides REM caps, these are the only supplements where I can absolutely feel the difference the first time. These capsules are easy to swallow (EVEN in two's), Easy on the tummy, have a very tolerable taste, and help me focus more on moving up in the peloton rather than questioning if I have enough electrolytes. I highly recommend people, even the skeptical cyclists/triathletes, try this first. I've never felt negative symptoms with these.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Why the formula change? After several rounds of heat exhaustion/dehydration over the years, I discovered endurolytes and have practically eliminated the issue. I have shared my success with friends who take them for leg cramps, dehydration etc. Recently a friend in her early seventies took them along on a high altitude trip to Colorado. She swore by them and shared with fellow travelers for altitude issues. That was until she ran out. When she reordered she said they had stopped working for her. We both discovered that the new formulation reduced the manganese considerably and had dropped the B-6 and the L tyrosine altogether. Has anyone else found a change in their results? Comment from Hammer? Thanks

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! I have been using endurolytes for a few years now. As a professional athlete every minuscule percentage increase in health and strength is pivotal. I notice that I can reduce soreness as well as reduce sickness and injury by staying adequately hydrated and taking electrolytes. I can feel when I need them, I get a bit dizzy or feel out of it and tired and my muscles tighten up. After a day of hydrating and taking electrolytes I feel much better. I also sometimes suffer from vertigo and I can tell when I take electrolytes often I do not get vertigo symptoms. Highly recommend as a daily supplement for avid athletes who probably are electrolyte depleted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great supplements! I took Endurolytes for approx 4 years to help with leg cramps (Charlie Horses). They helped greatly but I didn't realize how great they were until I decided to try a similar GNC product. Same minerals plus calcium. The Endurolyes did not elevate my potassium level. When the GNC product elevated my potassium greatly Dr said no more b/c of the GNC product, I noe had too high of a potassium level. Spasms began again so I went back to Endurolytes and once again spasms have stopped and potassium level at normal. I am 66 yrs old and Endurolytes has become once again part of my supplement regiment. Thanks, Hammer.
