Why is it recommended that PSA Caps be taken at least 60 minutes apart from food?
As long as the food you're eating doesn't contain protein, this is not really an issue. The PSA Caps formula contains three amino acids—alanine, glutamic acid, and glycine—which, when taken for 14 days or more, minimize the symptoms of an enlarged prostate [1, 2, 3]. The other amino acids in protein will compete/interfere with the absorption of the three amino acids in PSA Caps, so for optimal benefits PSA should be consumed 60+ minutes apart from protein-containing foods.
We recommend taking 1 capsule in the morning and 1 capsule at night. Keeping a bottle of PSA Caps on your nightstand next to your bed makes proper dosing easy. Have a glass of water nearby and take 1 capsule just before you turn out the light at night. When you wake up in the morning, take 1 capsule before you get out of bed.
