Jumping to New Forum + Race Report
Greetings to all in the Hammer World:
Finally getting off my back-side and jumping from the Yahoo Groups list to the new Hammer/Endurance Forum. Of course, I'll need to scroll back through some of the topics and see what I've been missing!
Additionally, recently survived the San Juan Solstice 50-Miler in wonderful Lake City, CO; a Hammer-sponsored event. So a thanks to the Hammer leadership team for sponsoring what is surely among the toughest, gnarliest 50-milers in the country. Having dialed in my race nutrition several years back, I did the whole race on Perpetuem (mixed in a paste, 4 scoops to a flask) and a combo of E-lytes/RCS/EA/AF caps. If you are bored and want to know a fool living at 700' in Alabama managed to handle running up on the Continental Divide, surf over to my race report and post-race 14er adventure:

The SJS50 trip is the first half of my Colorado summer, will be back in 5 weeks to try on Leadville for size. Best of luck to all of your summer adventures!
