What is the Best Supplement for Training

I no longer race, but I do some pretty hard group rides 2-3 times per week with the guys that require me to dig pretty deep at times. I am looking for the BEST supplement that buffers lactic acid, improves recovery time between efforts and gives me that extra 'umph'/takes the edge off when I need to go hard.
In the past I have taken Optygen and Endurox Excel. I have had good results with both...looking for something similar.
