Globus Premium Sport - Battery

I need to replace the battery in my GPS. I have the replacement battery --- but no instructions on how to open the case. I have been looking around the web with no joy. There are two screws on the back. I remove them but the case remains tightly closed. I have tried gently prying the case open, but it does not want to let go - easily. I hesitate go pry too hard or I may wind up with parts for a Globus Premium Sport.

Anyone know of any written instructions, or have actual experience opening the unit up?

Hi Jerry and all,

We can not recommend dis-assembly of your EMS units. This is unnecessary and could damage the unit and will void the warranty. Replacing the battery on the Globus is a simple matter of peeling back the sticker on the back, from the bottom edge just far enough to reveal the screw that secures the battery compartment. The process will not involve prying.

After the battery is replaced, re-tighten the screw and press the sticker back into place.
