2010 February Hammer Camp – Saguaro East Ride

The 2010 February Hammer Camp in Sunny Tucson is under way!

Montanans Michael Longmire and pro triathlete Brendan Halpin set pace on our first full day of February Hammer Camp. 15 campers this year make for our biggest camp ever.  11 are 4 year veterans with 4 rookies.

The ride started at The Cycling House in the Catalina foothills area of north Tucson and headed over to Suguaro National Park (East).  We did two laps in the park – 8 mile loops of undulating black top.

Temps – 55 at 9 am roll off, 76 at finish

61.4 miles

3:33 ride time, 4: 15 total elapsed

4,000 + feet of elevation
